Our founder, Eltayeb, was recently invited to Lumsa University in Palermo, Sicily, where he delivered a lecture on the philosophy of law and the role of human rights in safeguarding human dignity. He then led an interactive session in which students defended their positions on a proposed motion.

At the GRA X LUMSA University conference, Eltayeb spoke alongside a panel of professors, presented on racial justice advocacy, answered questions on human rights, shared his journey, and received the university’s Medal of Honour, with strong student engagement throughout.

Following the success of this collaboration, members of Global Rights Alliance and LUMSA University have begun exploring new opportunities for future partnership. We are excited to build on this momentum and further expand youth engagement in meaningful human rights discussions.
