The Global Rights Alliance was born in the heart of international cooperation: the halls of UNESCO.
On the 21st of November 2024, 500 students gathered from all over the globe to attend the opening ceremony of their Model United Nations conference in UNESCO Paris. Inspired by the advice of UN officials and the collaboration between young advocates from all over the globe, Eltayeb Bashar conceptualised the formation of a global community of young human rights advocates, leading to the establishment of the Global Rights Alliance.
